Citrus Plants

The citrus plants we produce belongs to different genres, main are:

-Citrus (limone, pompelmo, mandarino, pomelo, cedro, clementina, bergamotto, chinotto, combava, limetta, arancio amaro, mandarancio, mapo, lipo, lice)
-Fortunella (Kumquat)
-Poncirus trifoliata

These plants are large shrubs or small trees, reaching 5–15 m tall, with spiny shoots and alternately arranged evergreen leaves with an entire margin. The flowers are solitary or in small corymbs, each flower 2–4 cm diameter, with five (rarely four) white petals and numerous stamens; they are often very strongly scented. The fruit is a hesperidium, a specialised berry, globose to elongated, 4–30 cm long and 4–20 cm diameter, with a leathery rind surrounding segments or "liths" filled with pulp vesicles.

Arancio CITRUS SINESIS

An orange is the citrus fruit Citrus sinensis. The orange is a hybrid of ancient cultivated origin, possibly between pomelo (Citrus maxima) and tangerine (Citrus reticulata). It's a small flowering tree growing to about 10 m tall with evergreen leaves, which are arranged alternately, of ovate shape with crenulate margins and 4–10 cm long.
Limone CITRUS LIMON

Lemons are a citrus tree contributing ornamental value with an ever-abundant supply of sweet fruit. Featuring glossy green foliage, white perfumed flowers and a prolific supply colourful fruit.

Mandarino CITRUS RETICULATA

The Mandarin oranges are small, sometimes spiny, trees with slender branches, and lance shaped shiny evergreen leaves. The orange colored fruit of most mandarins is juicy and sweet, loose skinned and easy to peel. Mandarins have shapely, symmetrical, rather open, rounded crowns and rarely require pruning.
Calamondino CITRUS MITIS

Small citrus fruit resembling a miniature tangerine. Fruits are very juicy, with a sweet but acidic flavor. Common in tropical zones, but lesser known elsewhere.

Chinotto CITRUS MYRTIFOLIA

The chinotto is a small bitter citrus fruit from the chinotto, or "myrtle-leaved" orange tree (Citrus aurantium var. myrtifolia). The tree grows to a height of 3m. The name chinotto is derived from China, from where the tree was thought to originate.
Kumquat FORTUNELLA MARGARITA

The kumquats are a group of small fruit-bearing trees in the genus Fortunella related to the Citrus in the flowering plant family Rutaceae. The edible fruit (which is also called kumquat) closely resembles that of the orange (Citrus sinensis) but is smaller and is often oval.

Kucle KUCLE

A kumquat mandarin hybrid of Sicilian origin we believe. It produces fruit about twice the size of the Nagami Kumquat, which when left to fully ripen are deliciously tangy and juicy. The plant is very ornamental.
Pompelmo CITRUS PARADISI

The grapefruit is a subtropical citrus tree grown for its fruit. These evergreen trees are usually found at around 5-6 m tall, although they can reach 13-15 m. The leaves are dark green, long and thin. The fruit is yellow-orange skinned, largely oblate and ranges in diameter from 10-15 cm.

Cedro CITRUS MEDICA

The citron is a fragrant fruit with the botanical name Citrus medica L., which applies to both the Swingle and Tanaka systems. It is a prominent member in the genus Citrus, belonging to the Rutaceae. The citron fruit is usually ovate or oblong, narrowing up till the stylar end. However, the citron's fruit shape is highly variable.
